On a personal note, last week, we said our final goodbyes to our beloved family dog Ada who had been with us for 16 beautiful years. The grief has been overwhelming. I've thrown myself into work, perhaps as a way to sidestep the sadness.

Evolutions and Learnings at Becalia
When it comes to Becalia, it hasn't been smooth sailing. I've felt a little stuck, not from a lack of passion, but from the pressure I put on myself to deliver you only the best. Sometimes, that pressure becomes paralyzing. But, amid this, I've had the privilege of working with a new client since March, helping them craft fragrances inspired by their homeland — a challenge that has rejuvenated my spirit and fueled Becalia's creative journey.
Moreover, I've been buried in educational courses. Growing is learning, after all. Though, I must admit, I bit off a tad more than I could chew. A little reminder to myself: just because I can do everything, doesn’t mean I should.

An unscented version? Absolutely, that's on the cards too! Speaking of exciting ventures, many of you might already know about my co-founded initiative, Hola Amiga Experience. We champion Latinx and minority-led brands, aiding them with resources, tools, and knowledge. This year, we're reviving a cultural vendors market for Hispanic Heritage Month.
