What a rollercoaster it’s been since we announced our return. From late nights fueled by coffee to countless interviews and editing marathons, we are finally back.

Becalia has a new look and a new website, but more than that, it has a renewed spirit. When I started planning our comeback, I knew our story had to remain at the forefront. Becalia has always been an extension of myself. As I learn, grow, and evolve, so does Becalia. This relaunch feels like an evolution: refined, minimal, familiar, and comforting, but also more confident, no longer weighed down by insecurity.

Working with my friend, designer Hannah Matthew, was a gift. We first met through the Rise initiative by Juniper Market (now AndMore), where we were two Latina-owned brands chasing big dreams. Hannah not only understood my vision but also shared in the cultural roots behind it. Together, we built a look that honors my family and heritage, while pushing Becalia into a new chapter.

And now, Luma.
I produced 125 bottles for our first run, and we’re already down to just 50 left thanks to pre-orders. The excitement around Luma and our new mission of giving back to community has been overwhelming in the best way.

Entrepreneurship isn’t always easy. Some days it feels like I’m throwing a party no one shows up to. But your support reminds me I’m not alone. I’ve been creating more content than ever, teaching myself how to edit videos (each one takes me 5–10 hours!). I have so much respect for full-time creators and can’t wait to hire someone to help carry this side of the work soon.

The best part? Boxes are on the way and pre-orders will start shipping by the end of next week, if not sooner! I can’t wait for you to experience Luma and love her as much as I do.

Coming back is scary; those thoughts of “what if this time I fail?” are real. But I’m learning to push out the negativity and remind myself: this time, I’ll do better than ever.

I have some exciting showcases lined up this month with incredible partners, and I can’t wait to share more with you. As I reflect on these past seven years, my heart is full of gratitude. If you’ve been here since the beginning, thank you for sticking with me. If you’re new, welcome. I’m so glad you found us.

And if you haven’t yet, join us on socials, follow, like, and share. Every bit helps us spread the mission: to pour back into the community that has poured so much into us.

Gracias, always.
