Earlier this year, I made one of the hardest decisions of my life:
I hit pause on Becalia Botanicals.
Sales had dropped to our lowest year yet. The political climate was shifting. And the weight of running two businesses, managing a team, and being present for my family became too much to carry all at once.
We were running out of money.
I was running out of energy.
But even in the stillness, I never stopped thinking about Becalia. I’d get messages from customers who missed our products, who believed in what we built. And I realized — if we were going to come back, it couldn’t be just to sell skincare. It had to mean more. It had to do more.
That’s why we’re returning.
Not as the same brand, but as a new chapter — rooted in the same love and care, but with a much deeper mission.
We’re relaunching on September 22 with our first product in this new era. And this time, we’re building our values directly into our business.
15% of every sale will go straight to grassroots organizations uplifting undocumented immigrants and underrepresented communities.
This is more than skincare.
It’s about creating something that reflects care — for our skin, our communities, and our future.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for believing in us.
We’re just getting started.
